Our son Oliver (10) has seen many birds and learned their names. He can tell you if it is a female or a male most of the time. He made drawings of several birds. He looks up the birds in his little pocket guide “Birds of Georgia” which you can purchase at our bookstore. He observes them in the woods and at the feeder which he keeps and supplies with a variety of seeds. Mama has been kind enough to let him take pictures with her digital camera but he has to be careful with it. We have watched a video from Answers in Genesis on “Flight” and listened to a lecture on “Feathers and Fur”. God has made many different, and beautiful birds. It is Oliver’s delight to study them..
